Obtaining REX API Credentials
Step-by-step guide to enable the API link
To enable RE Software to access your Rex account, you must add api.rex@auctionslive.com as a new user within your Rex CRM. This is required for integrating your auction listings with Auctions Live.
Note: This email address has been granted Free user slots, so it will not affect your user limits in Rex.
Steps to Add a New User in Rex
Step 1: From the left-hand side menu in Rex, go to Settings and under the Other section, click Users & Security.
Step 2: Click the + button at the top left of the user list.
Step 3: Enter the email address: api.rex@auctionslive.com
Step 4: Ensure the option add the user without inviting them is not selected.
Step 5: Use the following name details:
- First Name: AuctionsLIVE
- Last Name: API
Important Note
Rex integration may take up to 72 hours for RE Software to activate.
Special Note
To ensure your auction properties are imported into Auctions Live, the authority_type field in Rex must be set to Auction.
If the authority_type is set to other options (such as Exclusive), those properties will not be auto-imported, and you will need to manually import them using their Property ID from Rex.
If you experience any issues, please contact your RE Software Account Representative for support.
