Create a Live Stream Key for Onsite Auctions
How to generate a stream key for broadcasting your onsite auction
This guide explains how to generate a unique live stream key within the PC Console. This key is essential for broadcasting your onsite auction live to your audience.
What is a Live Stream Key?
A live stream key is a unique code that connects your live stream software (like the Broadcaster App or OBS Studio) to your website. It ensures your auction broadcast goes to the correct destination.
Steps to Create a Live Stream Key for an Onsite Auction
Step 1: Log into the PC Console and navigate to your Auctions Live Dashboard.
Step 2: From the left-hand side menu, select All Upcoming.
Step 3: Select the blue View icon on the right-hand side of the property you want to schedule a live stream for.
Step 4: Scroll down and select +Create Live Stream, then click Create.
Step 5: This will generate a unique Stream Key, ready to use on auction day.
Important Information
If the Create Live Stream button does not appear, it means your Auctions Live account is not yet integrated with a YouTube channel.
You can link your company's YouTube channel through your account Settings.
For any assistance, please contact your Auctions Live Account Manager.
