Introduction
Streamline auctions by letting buyers pre-register online
This guide explains how to enable and manage electronic bidder registration using Auctions Live. Electronic bidder registration allows interested parties to pre-register before auction day, making the process smoother for everyone involved.
By enabling electronic bidder registration, you provide a convenient way for potential bidders to register online, receive important notifications, and streamline the auction day process.
Steps to Enable Electronic Bidder Registration
Step 1: Navigate to the property's Edit page within Auctions Live.
Step 2: Locate the Bidder Registration section.
Step 3: Toggle on the desired bidder registration types. You can select from:
- In-Person Bidding
- Bidding via Telephone
- Auctions Live Online Bidding
- Video Conferencing (if enabled for your account)
How Bidders Can Pre-Register
Once you have enabled electronic bidder registration, interested parties can pre-register using one of the following methods:
- Website Display Widget: If you have an Auctions Live Website Display Widget embedded on your real estate agency's website, a Bidder Registration button will appear for each listing.
- Unique Link: You can share a unique link directly with interested parties.
- Unique QR Code: Potential bidders can scan a unique QR code to access the registration form.
Receiving Bidder Registration Notifications
When an individual pre-registers as a bidder:
- An automatic notification email will be sent to the primary selling agent.
- You have the option to add more recipients for these notifications via the advanced settings.
- The primary office user will also receive a notification email.
Managing Pre-Registered Bidders
You can view and manage details of pre-registered bidders through the Auctions Live platform:
- Auctions Live Mobile Console App: If you have been assigned a user role as a Selling Agent, you can log in to the Mobile Console App to view all bidder details and approve their registration.
- Auctions Live PC Console: All users with access to the listing will be able to view pre-registered bidder details within the Auctions Live PC Console.
