Accessing the Electronic Scriber via the Mobile Console App
Manage real-time bidding activity from your iPad or tablet
The Electronic Scriber allows you to manage and track all bid activity in real time during an onsite auction, including bids placed by online participants. It gives the auctioneer or agent full control of the auction directly from the Mobile Console App.
To use the Electronic Scriber, you will need an iPad or Tablet connected to a stable 4G, 5G or Wi-Fi network.
Steps to Access the Electronic Scriber via the Mobile Console App
Step 1: Log in to the Mobile Console App and tap Auctions from the lower task bar.
Step 2: Tap Individual Auction Lots to reveal all your listings.
Step 3: Search for the property you want to manage and tap on the Property card.
Step 4: A pop-up menu will appear. Tap Electronic Scriber.
Step 5: Refer to the video tutorial within the app for instructions on how to use the Electronic Scriber effectively.
Step 6: Once the auction has concluded, tap the Exit button at the bottom of the screen and enter the Average People in Attendance.
Handy Hint
1. You can create a hotspot from your smartphone to connect your iPad or tablet to the internet, although a direct Wi-Fi or cellular connection is recommended for reliability.
2. If enabled, you can change the minimum bid increment for online bidders by tapping the button next to the Globe icon under the Online Activities section.
3. Online bidding can be manually started or stopped using the Start and Stop buttons under the Online Activities section.
